Ukraine. Risoil started implementing a project for the construction of a two-way pier in Chornomorsk

According to the project, the typical standard ship at the initial stage will be that of the Panamax type, but in the future, upon dredging, the terminal will be able to handle Post Panamax ships with a deadweight of up to 120 KMT, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Owing to that improvement, the company will become able to simultaneously load grains at a rate of up to 3000 MT per hour from either side of the pier, or to load two ships from both sides of the pier at a rate of 1500 MT per hour. The facility construction will take one year. The tentative project cost exceeds UAH 1 Bl.
