Ukraine records moderate decline in soybean prices
The Ukrainian soybean market is experiencing a slight decline in prices, while the export market remains active. This is reported by analysts at Spike Brokers.
Thus, at the end of last week, prices for GM soybeans decreased by $3/t to $501/t.
Meanwhile, exports remain active – since the beginning of May, Ukraine has supplied 172.9 thousand tons of soybeans, 31.1 thousand tons of oil and 93.1 thousand tons of cake to foreign markets. The main directions of soybean supply were:
- Turkey – 58.4 thousand tons;
- France – 33 thousand tons;
- Netherlands – 28.4 thousand tons;
- Germany – 12.5 thousand tons;
- Poland – 6.6 thousand tons;
- Greece – 6.3 thousand tons;
- Hungary – 5.4 thousand tons.
