Ukraine. QTerminals Olvia handled 265,000 tons of cargo in the first month of operation
In December 2021, QTerminals Olvia handled more than 265,000 tons of general, bulk and grain cargo at Olvia Seaport.
According to the company’s press service, the transshipment of bulk cargo in December amounted to 130.97 thousand tons, general – 123.38 thousand tons, grain cargo – 10.67 thousand tons.

In early December 2021, the Ministry of Infrastructure signed an act of transfer of the entire property complex of the State Enterprise Stevedoring Company (IC) “Olvia” and the corresponding property of the State Enterprise “Administration of Seaports of Ukraine” (AMPU) in the Specialized Seaport (SMP) “Olvia” concessionaire – LLC ” QTerminals Olvia.
In August 2020, the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Qatari company Qterminals signed a 35-year concession agreement for the entire property complex of Olvia Insurance Company and the corresponding property of AMPU in Olvia Seaport.
According to the agreement, QTerminals is investing about UAH 3.4 billion in the development of the port. In addition, at least UAH 80 million will be invested in local infrastructure.
