Ukraine purchased €1.2 bln worth of agri-food products from Poland
Ukraine imported €1.2 billion worth of agri-food products from Poland in 2025. This is reported by the Polish publication AgroNews.
In total, in 2025, exports of Polish agri-food products reached €58.4 billion (PLN 248 billion), which is 8.6% more than in the previous year. Food imports to Poland also increased – to €38.6 billion (+7.8%). The positive trade balance amounted to €19.8 billion, which is more than 10% higher than in 2024.
The main sales market for Polish products remains the EU – €43.9 billion, or 75% of all exports (+10% per year). The largest partners are Germany (€14.8 billion), France (€4 billion) and the Netherlands (€3.4 billion).
Supplies to countries outside the EU amounted to €14.5 billion (+3%). Key markets include the UK (€4.4 billion), Ukraine (€1.2 billion) and the US (€838 million).
Poland’s export structure is dominated by poultry (€4.2 billion, +26%), beef (€2.7 billion, +37%), dairy products (€2.8 billion, +12%), chocolate products (€2.5 billion, +21%) and bakery products (€2.4 billion).
