Ukraine processed 1 million tons of rapeseed
Ukraine usually exports more than 90% of its annual rapeseed harvest. So far, we have managed to export 3 million 550 thousand tons. At the same time, this oilseed is actively processed in Ukraine.
This was stated by Julia Garkavenko, Head of Analytical Department at UkrAgroConsult, at the conference Black Sea Grain. Kyiv 2024.
Earlier, UkrAgroConsult predicted that Ukraine would be able to process 600 thsd tonnes of the crop in 2023-2024 season, but today the figure has increased significantly.
“The major Ukrainian processors are serious, this season they have already processed more than 1 mln tons of rapeseed. We have also broken records for rapeseed oil and meal production and exports,” said Julia Garkavenko.
