Ukraine. Prices for individual batches of sunseed in ports reached UAH 30 000
Sunseed prices in Ukrainian ports have risen to UAH 30,000/t ($695/t) amid active demand and competition for large batches with 48% oil content. This is reported by “Zernovy Broker”.
“The dream of every farmer who has sunflower seeds left has become a reality. Prices continue to grow dynamically, and demand in ports only fuels this movement. For good volumes in ports, it is realistic to get UAH 30,000 for 48% oil. Sunflower has become the main favorite of the market,” the report says.
Other crops are also trading with positive dynamics, but less actively. Corn is offered at $ 215/t (about UAH 10,500/t for large batches), soybeans – about $ 440/t, rapeseed – about $ 550/t.
