Ukraine. Planting of winter grains slowed down behind last year

According to the latest update as of September 30, planting of winter grains slowed down to 7.8% behind last year. Planting of winter rape is 4.0% ahead of last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Corn harvest is 5.9% ahead of last year with 1.9% higher yield than in 2018. Buckwheat harvest is 35.9% behind last year, with 5.0% higher yield than in 2018. Millet harvest is 78.7% ahead of last year, with 20.0% higher yield than in 2018.
Sunflower harvest progress and yield are up 9.3% and 7.1% year-on-year, respectively.
Soybean harvest has accelerated to 35.8% ahead of last year with 4.0% lower yield than in 2018.
