Ukraine plans to open China’s flour market this year

The State Food Safety Service intends to open the Chinese market for Ukrainian flour in 2025.
This was stated by Deputy Head of the State Food Safety Service Vadim Chaikovsky during the Agro Ukraine Summit conference.
“This year we plan to sign protocols with Chinese colleagues on opening the market for Ukrainian wheat flour,” he said.
Vadim Chaikovsky also noted that the agency has initiated procedures for promoting supplies of wheat, millet and sorghum from Ukraine to the Chinese market.
The Deputy Head of the State Food Safety Service also noted that producers planning to export peas to China can already order field inspections.
“Today we are working on a video inspection, which should open the Chinese market for Ukrainian peas,” he said.
According to Vadim Chaikovsky, it now entirely depends on the results of the inspection whether Ukrainian producers will have the opportunity to export peas to China in 2025.
