Ukraine. Macaroni and groats production increased significantly in April
Output of the following grain products has been steadily decreasing since the start of MY 2019/20:
– flour (-10.9% year-on-year in April 2020, -3.9% year-on-year in July-April 2019/20),
– bread and bakery products (-16.7%, -12.7%).
Output of macaroni products and groats (except hulled, half-hulled or crushed rice) increased significantly and the production of bran and fodders decreased by 10.4% and 6.1% respectively in March.
Since the beginning of the season, output of fodders has been at last year’s level, UkrAgroConsult reports.
