Ukraine. Kernel reported its operational results for the first half of this financial year
In the second quarter of FY 2020 (started in July 2019), Kernel Company reduced sunflower oil sales by 9%, to 346 KMT, including 10% (34.3 KMT) of bottled oil (its sales increased by 14%), reports UkrAgroConsult.
Production facilities of the oil extraction plants were fully utilized. Sunflower seed crush in October-December reached a record 943 KMT against 940.6 KMT a year earlier.
Overall, sunflower oil sales in H1 2020 fell by 17% (to 647.3 KMT), with a 16% gain in crush (to 1.57 MMT).
