Ukraine. Kernel continues to optimize logistics

In early May, United Barge Company, for the first time in Ukraine, carried out additional loading of sunflower oil from a river tanker to a sea-going one in the open sea on order of Kernel Company, UkrAgroConsult reports.
33.2 KMT of sunflower oil was loaded into SC Draco tanker at Nika-Tera’s fixed offshore platform to its maximum draft (10.3 m). Then UBC Amosov tanker loaded another 2.6 KMT of oil offshore.
The operation lasted for roughly 24 hours. It made possible to reduce costs for chartering the whole vessel and optimize logistics, as there was no need to pay for entering the second Ukrainian port.
