Ukraine is preparing 5 more products to enter the Chinese market

The State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection is looking for opportunities to expand the range of Ukrainian products allowed for delivery to China.
This was stated by the First Deputy Head of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection Oleh Osiyan during meetings with Chinese partners within the framework of the 6th International Seminar on Food Safety BIOEASY, which was held in China. This event became a platform for exchanging experience in the field of food safety, getting acquainted with best world practices and establishing business contacts between Ukrainian and Chinese companies, the press service of the department reports.
Oleh Osiyan noted that the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection continues to open up new opportunities for Ukrainian producers, which will contribute to the development of the agricultural sector and increase the economic potential of the country. In addition, work is underway to prepare five more new protocols that will significantly expand the possibilities of exporting Ukrainian products to China:
- wheat flour;
- pet food;
- poultry meat (export/import);
- beef (expanded nomenclature);
- corn (updated requirements).
The State Service for Food and Consumer Protection reminded that in 2025 the Chinese market for peas and wild-caught aquatic products was opened for Ukraine.
