Ukraine increases poultry meat exports by 12%, but revenue declines

Ukraine exported 291.8 thsd tons of poultry meat and edible offal in January-July 2026, up 11.8% from the same period last year, according to data from the State Customs Service.

Despite higher export volumes, revenue moved in the opposite direction. In the first seven months of the year, Ukraine earned $619.2 mln from exports of these products, down 2.3% compared with January-July 2025.

Thus, the increase in export volumes was not enough to offset weaker prices. The relationship between shipment volumes and revenue indicates that the average export value of Ukrainian poultry meat and offal was lower than in the same period last year.

The Netherlands remained the largest market, accounting for 25% of export revenue. The United Kingdom ranked second with a 15.8% share, followed by Slovakia with 11.9%.

Together, the three largest markets accounted for more than half of Ukraine’s poultry meat and offal exports in value terms. The seven-month figures show that Ukrainian exporters are shipping larger volumes but generating less revenue than a year earlier.
