Ukraine increased pasta exports and reduced flour sales in MY 2025/26
In the MY 2025/26 (July–April), Ukraine reduced exports of most grain processing products, while supplies of pasta and couscous increased. This was reported by the press service of the Flour Mills Union of Ukraine.
According to the industry association, during the specified period, the following were exported:
- 52.6 thousand tons of wheat flour (versus 54.6 thousand tons for the same period in MY 2024/25);
- 1.4 thousand tons of other types of flour (4.2 thousand tons year-on-year);
- 21.8 thousand tons of groats and granules (27.4 thousand tons year-on-year);
- 49.6 thousand tons of grain processed in other ways (53.0 thousand tons year-on-year);
- 308.2 thousand tons of bran (308.5 thousand tons year-on-year);
At the same time, exports of pasta and couscous increased to 25.2 thousand tons compared to 21.8 thousand tons in the corresponding period of the last season.
