Ukraine has already sown 2.7 mln ha of winter crops

Ukrainian farmers have already sown 2.7 million hectares of winter crops. Winter crops are being sown in all regions, with a total of 1.8 mln ha sown. Winter rape was sown on 932.9 thsd ha.
In particular, the following crops were sown:
- winter wheat – 1.7 mln ha;
- winter barley – 119.4 thsd ha;
- winter rye – 34.8 thsd ha.
Amog the leaders in sowing winter grains are farmers in Volyn – 97.5 thsd ha (58.9%), Poltava – 136.8 thsd ha (55%), Kirovograd – 173.4 thsd ha (44.2%), Ternopil – 106.6 thsd ha (54.1%).
Agrarians in Volyn, Rivne, Zakarpattia, Ternopil, Odesa, Chernihiv and Lviv regions have completed sowing of winter rapeseed.
