Ukraine harvests 2.4 mln tons of sunseed and nearly 1 mln tons of soybean

As of September 19, 2025, Ukraine has harvested 29,769.6 thsd tons of grains on 7,088.7 thsd ha, completing 62% of the sown area.

Breakdown by crop:

  • Wheat — 22.48 mln t with a yield of 4.48 t/ha on 5.02 mln ha;

  • Barley — 5.33 mln t with a yield of 3.96 t/ha on 1.35 mln ha;

  • Peas — 626.6 thsd t with a yield of 2.36 t/ha on 266.0 thsd ha;

  • Corn — 388.7 thsd t with a yield of 4.31 t/ha on 54.1 thsd ha;

  • Other grains and pulses — 844.3 thsd t on 304.7 thsd ha.

Leading regions include:

  • Odesa region — 3,675.2 thsd t on 1,094.1 thsd ha;

  • Vinnytsia region — 2,407.6 thsd t on 434.4 thsd ha;

  • Kirovohrad region — 2,214.7 thsd t on 538.4 thsd ha;

  • Khmelnytskyi region — 2,130.2 thsd t on 306.7 thsd ha.

In addition, sunflower seeds harvest reached 2.41 mln t with an average yield of 1.55 t/ha on 1.37 mln ha. Soybean was harvested on 483.7 thsd ha, yielding 944.9 thsd t at 1.95 t/ha.

Rapeseed harvest is complete: 3.30 mln t from 1.27 mln ha with a yield of 2.59 t/ha.

Sugar beet has reached 632.5 thsd t on 12.7 thsd ha.
