Ukraine harvest update: Corn 89% complete, sunflower seeds 93%
As of January 1, 2026, Ukraine has harvested over 75.3 million tons of cereals, pulses, and oilseeds, and more than 11 million tons of sugar beet, according to the Ministry of Economy.
By crop:

Corn – 27.7 million tons harvested from 89% of planted area, with an average yield of 7.13 t/ha;

Sunflower seeds – 9.2 million tons from 93% of area, averaging 1.91 t/ha;

Soybeans – 4.85 million tons from 99% of area, with a yield of 2.37 t/ha.
Sugar beet was harvested with an average yield of 55.3 t/ha. The highest average yield was recorded in Chernivtsi region at 78 t/ha, while the largest sugar beet area was in Vinnytsia region, covering 44.2 thousand hectares.
