Ukraine exports 2.6 mln tons of grain during the first month of the season
Ukraine exported 2.6 mln tons of grains and pulses during the first month of the 2026/27 marketing year, up 55% from the same period of the previous season.
The figures were reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, citing data from the State Customs Service.
Wheat exports totaled 1.07 mln tons, an increase of 42% year over year.
Barley exports reached 294 thsd tons, up 10% compared with the corresponding period of the previous marketing year.
No rye exports have been recorded so far.
Corn exports amounted to 1.2 mln tons, doubling the volume shipped during the same period last season.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s flour exports are 50% lower year over year, totaling 1.7 thsd tons.
For reference, during the 2025/26 marketing year, Ukraine exported 37.5 mln tons of grains and pulses, including 14.1 mln tons of wheat, 1.5 mln tons of barley, 0.2 thsd tons of rye, 21.3 mln tons of corn, and 62.1 thsd tons of flour.
