Ukraine exports 17.6 million tonnes of grain since June
Ukraine since the start of the 2018/19 agricultural year (July-June) as of Nov. 28, exported 17.602 million tonnes of grain, which is almost 7.2 percent more than a year ago.
According to a report of the Ukrainian Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry, as of Nov. 28, 9 million tonnes of wheat, 3 million tonnes of barley and 5.2 million tonnes of maize was exported.
In addition, 89,600 tonnes of flour was exported.
As reported, referring to the ministry, Ukraine in 2017/18 agri-year exported 39.4 million tonnes of grain. It is predicted that some 42.5 million tonnes of grain will be exported in 2018/19 agri-year.
