Ukraine exported the most vegetable oil by rail in May over the past 4 years
In May, JSC Ukrzaliznytsia transported 195.1 thousand tons of vegetable oil for export, which is the highest figure for the last 4 years. This was discussed at a regular meeting of the Export Office at UZ.
In May 2024, the volume of vegetable oil exports increased by 28.7% compared to the previous month. The total volume of exports was 72.0% via land crossings.
In January-May 2024, 770.9 thsd tonnes of vegetable oil was transported in export traffic, which is +130.05 thsd tonnes or +20.3% more compared to the same period in 2023.
