Ukraine exported over 39.4 million tons of grain
Ukraine exported more than 39.4 million tons of grain. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 15 million 128 thousand tons, which is 1 million 187 thousand tons or 1.08 times more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 million 154 thousand tons of barley and 1.2 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 21 mln 707 thsd tonnes, which is 2 mln 342 thsd tonnes or 1.1 times less than last year.
In addition, 84.6 thou tons of flour (or 112.8 thou tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 40.8 thou tons or 1.48 times less than last year.
Preliminary data on grain and legume exports were published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on April 19. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY, 39 mln 059 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses were exported.
As a reminder, the exports of agricultural products in the first half of 2023/24 MY are 17% lower than last year.
