Ukraine exported over 17 mln tons of grain

The volume of exports of grains and pulses from Ukraine in MY 2024/25 as of November 22 amounted to 17.2 mln tonnes, up 53% compared to the same period last season.
This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service, published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Thus, 8.6 mln tons of wheat were shipped this season, which is 57% higher than last year. Thus, 53% of the total volume of wheat agreed in the grain memorandum (16.2 mln tons) was exported.
Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to 1.8 mln tonnes, which is 2 times higher than in the same period last year.
Rye was shipped in the amount of 10.8 thsd tonnes, which is 12 times more than last season (0.9 thsd tonnes).
Ukraine exported almost 6.5 mln tons of corn, which is 16% more than the same date last season.
Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 29.8 thsd tonnes, down 37% year-on-year.
For reference: in MY 2023/24, the exports of grains and pulses totaled 50.8 mln tonnes: wheat – 18.4 mln tonnes, barley – 2.5 mln tonnes, rye – 1.6 thsd tonnes, corn – 29.4 mln tonnes, flour – 98.2 thsd tonnes.
