Ukraine exported almost 38 million tons of grain

As of April 15, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 37 mln 962 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 1 mln 745 thsd tonnes or 1.04 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 14 mln 817 thsd tonnes, which is 1 mln 166 thsd tonnes or 1.08 times more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 million 125 thousand tons of barley and 1.0 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 20 mln 723 thsd tonnes, which is 2 mln 665 thsd tonnes or 1.12 times less than last year.
In addition, 83.2 thou tons of flour (or 110.9 thou tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 39.7 thou tons or 1.47 times less than last year.
Preliminary data on grain and pulses exports were published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on April 12. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY 37 mln 620 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses were exported.
As a reminder, the exports of agricultural products in the first half of 2023/24 MY are 17% lower than last year.
