Ukraine exported almost 18 million tons of grain

As of December 29, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 17 mln 932 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 6 mln 681 thsd tonnes or almost 1.3 times less than last year. In particular, in December, 4 mln 836 thsd tonnes of grain were exported, which is 105 thsd tonnes more than in December 2022. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
The export of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 7 mln 368 thsd tonnes, which is 1 mln 014 thsd tonnes less than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 1 million 067 thousand tons of barley and 1.0 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 9 mln 356 thsd tonnes, which is 3 mln 167 thsd tonnes or 1.33 times less than last year.
Ukraine also exported 58.2 thousand tons of flour (77.6 thousand tons in terms of grain), which is 10.1 thousand tons less than last year.
The previous data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on the exports of grains and pulses were dated December 27. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY the total export volume of grains and pulses was 17 mln 484 thsd tonnes.
