Jordan makes no purchase in wheat tender and issues new one
Jordan’s Ministry of Industry and Trade made no purchase in an international tender to buy 120,000 metric tons of milling wheat, according to European traders. The tender was closed without contracts being awarded, and no official explanation for the decision was disclosed.
At the same time, the state grain buyer issued a new tender to purchase the same volume — 120,000 metric tons of wheat. The deadline for submitting price offers is set for March 10, with shipment scheduled for May–June of the current year.
