Ukraine exported almost 1.5 mln tons of grain in September
In September MY 2026/27, Ukraine exported 1.488 mln tons of grains and pulses, down 863 thsd tons, or 36.7%, from September last season, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Wheat exports during the month reached 1.094 mln tons. This was 957 thsd tons higher, or 1.8 times more, than in the same period last year.
At the same time, barley shipments fell to 80 thsd tons — almost three times lower than in September of the previous season. Ukraine did not export any rye in September MY 2026/27.
Corn exports in September totaled 309 thsd tons, up 269 thsd tons, or 7.7 times, compared with the previous month of the marketing year.
In addition, Ukraine exported 3.7 thsd tons of flour, equivalent to 4.9 thsd tons in grain terms. This was 2.1 thsd tons lower, or about 1.5 times less, than in September last year.
