Ukraine exported about 1 mln tons of new-crop barley
As of October 17, Ukraine’s grain and pulses exports in the 2025/26 marketing year totaled 7.9 million tons, down 4.6 million tons, or 37%, from last season.
This is according to data from the State Customs Service.
Wheat exports totaled 5.6 million tons, a 21% decrease compared to last year’s volumes.
Barley exports totaled 977,000 tons, down 38% from the same date last season.
Rye exports totaled 200 tons, a significant decrease from last year’s 10,500 tons.
Corn exports totaled 1,100 tons, a threefold decrease from last season’s shipments.
Flour exports from Ukraine totaled 18,800 tons, down 17% from last year’s volume.
For reference: in 2024/25 MY, exports of grain and pulses crops amounted to 40.6 million tons: wheat – 15.7 million tons; barley – 2.3 million tons; rye – 10.8 thousand tons; corn – 22 million tons; flour – 71.1 thousand tons.
