Ukraine exported a batch of corn to China after a long pause, no recovery in demand

Ukraine recently exported a shipment of corn to China after a long period of low demand, ASAP Agri reports.
Senior analyst at Argus Media Alexey Eremin noted that it is worth refraining from misinterpreting this shipment, as there is no concrete evidence that would indicate the recovery of sustainable demand in China.
According to him, the situation on the Ukrainian corn market remains complicated, if one batch of Panamax managed to attract disproportionate attention of the market.
Earlier, ASAP Agri wrote that the significant growth of the Chinese demand for corn remains unlikely. The corn shipment in question was made by the buyer, who wanted to use his open quota for corn imports to avoid the quota reduction for the next year.
