Ukraine exported 26 thsd tons of flour to the EU
Before the war, Ukrainian flour mills had a quota for export to the European Union, which was shared with wheat, so it was never used. After all, wheat was constantly being exported, and when they started exporting flour, there was no more space, so its export to the EU was minimal.
Rodion Rybchinsky, director of the Public Enterprise “Flour Mills of Ukraine”, said this during a discussion at the conference “Doing Agribusiness in Ukraine. Dialogue between the Government and Business”.
“In 11 months of 2025, we exported 26 thousand tons of flour to the EU, and I hope that we will achieve 30 thousand tons. This is a positive result for enterprises that are focused on exporting to Europe, since it makes sense to further modernize their capacities,” said Rodion Rybchinsky.
According to the union’s calculations, the top 10 enterprises that have actively exported flour products over the past 3 years have invested 17 million euros in modernization of production facilities.
