Ukraine exported 10 million tons of cargo through the temporary Black sea grain corridor
302 vessels exported Ukrainian agricultural products and other cargo to 24 countries. Over the 4 months of the corridor’s operation, Ukraine has expanded the range of cargo and started exporting it. The volume of agricultural products has increased significantly: from 278 thousand tons in the first month to almost 5 million tons now.
In total, 10 million tons of cargo were exported through the Black Sea sea corridor, according to the Ministry of Reconstruction of Ukraine.
Despite Russia’s systematic attacks on port infrastructure, the Ukrainian Corridor is working – since its launch, the ports of Greater Odesa have received 337 new ships for loading, and another 79 are preparing to receive them in the near future.
