Ukraine. Epicentr set to expand its silo capacity almost one and a half times
In the next season 2021/22, Epicentr Agro Holding is going to increase its grain storage capacity by 33-46%, to 2-2.2 MMT from the present 1.5 MMT. With this purpose, it has started the reconstruction of two silos in Khmelnytsky region.
Epicentr has begun building a 100 KMT state-of-the-art silo elevator on the premises of Antoninsky grain-collecting plant. Overall, the facility will be capable of storing 142 KMT of grain. In addition, the holding will boost capacity of Polonsky grain-collecting plant by 60 KMT, to 85 KMT.
Moreover, the company is planning to erect two new silos in Khmelnytsky region: one for 120 KMT and the other for 60 KMT – in Shepetivka and Chotyrboky, respectively, UkrAgroConsult reports.
