Ukraine. “Epicentr-K” company’s agribusiness to expand its soybean acreage substantially
This year, Epicentr-Agro has successfully implemented a pilot project for cultivation of seed soybeans. As a result, soybean acreage will be increased 10-12 times next year (for both seed and export of commodity soybeans), reports UkrAgroConsult.
The obtained yield of soybeans averaged 3.4-3.53 MT/ha (depending on the variety) that is above Ukraine’s mean level (2.5-2.7 MT/ha).
It is projected to expand soybean plantings to 4,800-5,000 ha in 2020.
