Ukraine can export at least 45 tons of grain of the new crop

Ukraine will be able to export at least 45 million tons of grain this year.
Taras Vysotsky, First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, said this during the press conference “Harvest in Ukraine 2022”.
“We will harvest 67 million tons (of grain – ed.). Domestic consumption is estimated at the level of 20-22 million tons, we will look at the needs of animal husbandry. Therefore, at least 45 million tons of this harvest will be exported,” he noted.
According to Vysotsky, the export of the new harvest will begin already in October of this year.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine expects that in 2022 the harvest of grain and oil crops will amount to about 67 million tons.
