Ukraine. Barley stocks decreased 48% year-on-year
The State Statistics Service of Ukraine reported the following amounts of grain stocks in the country as of March 1, 2021:
– wheat stocks were down 8.6% year-on-year, with those kept at storage and processing facilities being down 23.9% and farmer stocks up 0.3%;
– barley stocks were down 48.1% year-on-year, including farmer stocks down 41.5% and those at storage and processing facilities down 60.7%;
– corn stocks were down 7.2% year-on-year, including a 11.8% drop at storage and processing facilities and a 3.3% on-farm stocks, UkrAgroConsult reports.
