Ukraine. ARIA Commodities consigned wheat to Turkey, corn to South Korea
ARIA Commodities Ukraine keeps building up the volume of grain exports from Ukraine. The previous week, the company shipped Horizon bulk carrier with a 30,000 t consignment of food wheat to Turkey, the director of ARIA Commodities Ukraine and head of Black Sea Trading Oleg Levchenko told Latifundist.com.
“Grain shipment was traditionally done at Nika-Tera terminal. Besides, 33,000 t of corn were successfully loaded at the terminal Neptune onto the vessel Bahri Grain heading to South Korea,” he adds.
Oleg Levchenko admits that this is the first and highly successful experience of cooperation between ARIA Commodities and Korean buyers.
The company has exported from Ukraine about 300,000 t of wheat, barley and corn without demurrage since the start of 2020/21.
As a reminder, ARIA Commodities Ukraine is presented in Ukraine, Kyiv since February 2021.
Previously reported that wheat export from Ukraine in 2021/22 is limited to 25.3 mln t. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Agrarian Ministry and grain market participants.
