Ukraine among major suppliers of agricultural products to Turkey

Ukraine exported USD 1.4 Bl worth of agricultural products to Turkey in 2019 (+71% from 2018).
Ukraine became the second biggest supplier of agricultural goods to Turkey and seized an 11% share in their imports to the Turkish market, coming second only to Russia, UkrAgroConsult.
The main articles exported from Ukraine are soybeans (31% of total exports to Turkey), corn (24%), wheat (16%) and bran (8%).
Agricultural product imports from Turkey to Ukraine increased by 12%, to USD 263.7 Bl.
Talks are now underway about signing a Free Trade Area Agreement between Ukraine and Turkey that would increase the trade turnover between the two countries.
