Grain handling

According to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA), 47.2 MMT of export grains were handled in the country’s sea ports in January-November 2019, or 33.4% more than in the same period last year. The results of the 11 months indicate that this year’s handling of agricultural cargoes will be all-time high.

According to the USPA, grain shipments in November 2019 totaled 5 MMT – this is the highest volume for this month in recent years. According to UkrAgroConsult, grain exports may appear to be the all-time highest monthly volume, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Vegetable oils handling

According to the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, Ukraine’s sea ports increased handling of vegetable oils in January-November this year by 7.3%, to 5.1 MMT against 4.7 MMT last year. Export shipments of vegetable oils in November 2019 totaled 529 KMT, i.e. as much as last month. Based on the experience, the December handling volume is as high as in November, bringing the annual figure up to another record high.
