Ukraine. A ship loaded with wheat for Somalia arrived in Chornomorsk
As part of the implementation of the “grain initiative”, the fifth vessel chartered by the World Food Program of the United Nations arrived at the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk for loading.
This was reported by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine in Telegram.
“On October 2, the New Island EW vessel arrived at the port of Chornomorsk for loading. This is already the fifth ship chartered by the UN World Food Program. After loading with wheat, the ship will go to Somalia,” the message reads.
In general, according to the Ministry of Infrastructure, since the first ship with Ukrainian food left, 5.8 million tons of agricultural products have been exported. A total of 257 ships with food destined for the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa left Ukrainian ports.
