Ukraine. Barley exports keep beating records

339 KMT was exported in April (up 10% from March and 13 times more than in April 2018/19), UkrAgroConsult reports.
Last time, such a large volume was shipped abroad ten years ago. 4.6 MMT has been exported since the season’s beginning (+38% year-on-year).
In April, the largest amounts of barley were shipped to Saudi Arabia and Libya.
Owing to high exports in July-September, China is still the second biggest importer, however the latest shipment to China was made in September.
Demand from major importers increased year-on-year, except for Saudi Arabia (-43%) and Libya (-22%).
