Turkey’s share in Ukrainian wheat bran exports expanded by 20%
193 KMT of wheat bran was exported in July-November, or 8% more than in the same period in MY 2018/19, but 24% less than in MY 2017/18, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Traditionally, the top position in the ranking of importers is held by Turkey, which imported 185 KMT during the five months (up 37% year-on-year). Turkey’s share in Ukraine’s wheat bran exports expanded from 76% in MY 2018/19 to 96% this season.
In addition, supplies to the EU increased by 6%.
Saudi Arabia, whose export share equaled 15% in MY 2018/19, has not yet made any purchase this year.
Moreover, no deal has been yet signed with Israel, Senegal, Vietnam and Singapore in MY 2019/20.
At the same time, demand emerged from the UAE, China and Qatar.
