Turkey increased wheat import quota
Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat announced an increase in the current quota on wheat imports to 25%.
Recall that on October 3, Turkey partially lifted the ban on wheat imports, allowing flour mills to import 15% of the wheat they need, provided they purchase 85% of the raw material from the Turkish Cereals Committee (TMO). This measure was valid until December 31, 2024.
Further development of the grain and oilseed markets of Ukraine and the Black Sea region will be in the spotlight of the BLACK SEA GRAIN. KYIV conference, taking place on April 22–23 in Kyiv.
