Turkey canceled the purchase of sunflower oil at the tender
The Turkish State Food Procurement Agency TMO announced the cancellation of the purchase of 48,000 tons of unrefined sunflower oil at an earlier tender held in the country. This is reported by local media with reference to the information of operators in the market.
“The importer explained his decision by high oil prices,” the report says.
Products on the eve were contracted at a price of $1159-1173.8 per ton C&F. According to the terms of the tender, the delivery to the buyer was to take place in March-May of this year.
Recall that purchases at TMO tenders are always preliminary and are subject to final confirmation in the coming days.
