Turkey can help unblock Mykolaiv region’s ports, Zelenskyy hopes

Zelenskyy is convinced that Turkish President Recep Erdogan can help Ukraine open a port in Mykolaiv to ship Ukrainian grain.
“We talked about opening the sea. Mykolaiv region is also very important for us. And now I know that Turkey has discussed with UN Secretary General Guterres the possibility of free navigation, shipping in the Black Sea. We are ready for such a conversation,” Zelenskyy said.
The president expressed hope that this issue could be resolved at the first inaugural Peace Summit and expects Turkish President Recep Erdogan to attend the summit.
