Turkey announces tender for purchase of feed barley
The Turkish Grain Agency (TMA) will hold an international tender on January 15 for the purchase of 210,000 tonnes of feed barley, Reuters reports.
The shipments will take place from January 26 to February 24 in batches of 5,000-25,000 tonnes to the ports of Iskenderun, Mersin, Izmir, Adana, Samsun, Trabzon, and Giresun.
According to traders, barley batches imported into Turkey or already in customs warehouses are eligible for the tender. Domestically grown barley is not eligible for the tender.
