Tunisia purchases 55 thsd tons of corn in tender
Tunisia’s state grain agency (ODC) has finalized an international tender for the purchase of feed corn. According to market sources, on February 17 the agency contracted around 55,000 tons of corn of optional origin.
The purchase was made in a single lot from VA Intertrading at $258.75 per ton C&F, with delivery scheduled for March this year.
The lowest bid submitted was $256.99 per ton C&F, but it was rejected for failing to meet the tender’s requirements. The selected supplier fully complied with the tender criteria, ensuring timely delivery of corn for the country’s needs.
