Tunisia holds tender for wheat purchase

On April 17, the Tunisian Grain Agency (ODC) held a tender for the purchase of 75,000 tons of soft wheat of any origin.
Three lots of wheat were purchased for shipment from May 20 to June 30, depending on origin, from the following companies:
- Cargill – 25,000 tons at $263.91 and 25,000 tons at $262.91 per ton;
- Viterra – 25,000 tons at $264.86 per ton.
17 companies took part in the tender. The price of the wheat they offered ranged from $262.91 to $282 per ton.
