Tunisia held a tender for the purchase of feed barley
On November 7, the Tunisian Grain Agency (ODC) held a tender for 75,000 tonnes of feed barley of any origin, Reuters reported.
75,000 tonnes were purchased:
- 25,000 tonnes from Euro Commodities at $257 per tonne C&F;
- 25,000 tonnes from Casillo at $267.25 per tonne C&F;
- 25,000 tonnes from Casillo at $268.49 per tonne C&F.
Euro Commodities’ bid was the lowest in the tender. Traders believe Euro Commodities will supply the barley from Russia.
According to the tender terms, shipments will take place between November 25 and December 30, depending on origin.
