There is every chance to ensure rhythmic nature of sea exports – President of Ukraine
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his video address, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Implementation of the grain export initiative continues. Today, for the first time since February 24, a loaded ship left the Pivdennyi port. Currently, there is every chance to ensure the rhythmic nature of such exports. However, as in previous days, the key thing is the ability of the partners to prevent any attempts by Russia to disrupt exports and exacerbate the global food crisis again,” Zelensky said.
According to the President of Ukraine, sea exports were restored primarily thanks to the Ukrainian defenders who protected the water area.
A reminder that, on August 7, 2022, the second convoy of ships loaded with about 170,000 tonnes of agricultural products left Ukrainian ports: three vessels departed from Chornomorsk Port and one from Odesa Port. On August 8, 2022, the bulk carrier SACURA left Pivdennyi Port, and the bulk carrier ARIZONA left Chornomorsk Port. The two vessels are carrying 60,000 tonnes of agricultural products.
