The work of the “grain corridor” without Russia is yielding results
The Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security said that the work of the “grain corridor” without Russia continues and is yielding results.
“The launch of the ‘grain corridor’ without Russia is one of Ukraine’s greatest achievements in 2023. It strengthens the Ukrainian economy and Kyiv’s position in the international arena, saves people from hunger around the world,” the Center emphasized.
It is noted that Switzerland will allocate more than €3 million to the World Food Program, which, through the Grain from Ukraine initiative, promotes the export of Ukrainian grain to those who need it most.
Ukraine will convoy ships sailing along the Black Sea “grain corridor” with maritime patrol boats.
The European Commission will provide Ukraine with 50 million euros to rebuild ports destroyed by Russian terrorist attacks. The Odesa region will be protected by additional air defense systems, which Ukraine has already agreed with its partners to receive.
It is emphasized that Ukraine also welcomes the initiatives of Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey to trawl for mines in coastal waters.
