The export of Ukrainian grain in 2023/24 exceeded 4 million tons
According to the operational data of the State Customs Service, as of August 25, since the beginning of the 2023/24 MR, Ukraine exported 4.032 million tons of grain and pulses crops, of which 1.758 million tons were shipped in the current month, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine reported.
At the same time, it is noted that as of August 25 last year, the total figure for shipments was 3.327 million tons, including in August 1.626 million tons.
In terms of crops, since the beginning of the current season, the following were exported: – wheat – 1.694 million tons (in 2022/23 MR – 896 thousand tons); – barley – 459 thousand tons (272 thousand tons); – rye – 0.6 thousand tons (0.4 thousand tons); – corn – 1.871 million tons (2.142 million tons).
